The main purpose of this project, which implemented from January 2013 to December 2014, is authenticated the subsidized institution of waste batteries and waste lighting. The performance in this project including audited 2,728 sessions, authenticated waste batteries of 8,645 tons and waste fluorescent light tubes of 10,598 tons, executed environmental auditing actions of 85,718 times as well as executed CCTV analyzing operations of 4,351 days. Furthermore, with “Grade-subsidizing Rate System” of Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), this project also coach the subsidized institutions to improve the treatment efficiency and to extend reusing outputs, including advance the reusing rate of treated waste batteries up to 91%, advance the reusing rate of waste straight tube light and non-straight tube light respectively up to 98% and 77%( January 2013 to Dec 2014), as well as advance the recycling mercury of waste light for straight and non-straight tube ratio respectively up to 54% and 41%( January 2013 to Dec 2014). In addition, for ensure the quality of the operation; this project has executed training programs of 68.5 hours for auditors and internal audition for 34 sessions (68 people in total). Moreover, it also raised recommends and suggestions by practical experiences to continually improve the management system of auditing and certification of the regulated recyclable waste.
